An external SD card is great for storing your camera photos and videos while the apps should be installed on internal storage of your Android phone or tablet.

When you insert a new SD card into your phone and even more the used one, you’d better format it.

Your phone won’t prompt you to erase your SD card. That’s why you need to format it manually using the Android Settings app.

• Go to Settings.
• Scroll down and select Device Care.
