Additionally, Zach Eflin's status is in question because he had some back spasms that prevented him from pitching over the weekend. 2
The Phillies are hopeful Rhys Hoskins will return to the lineup Sunday against the Braves and their hard-throwing righty Spencer Strider. Hoskins said the swelling in his right arm has decreased and he took a bunch of swings in the cage Saturday. They could use him. 2
The Phillies have some notable players heading to the Arizona Fall League. Among them: Francisco Morales, Johan Rojas and Jhailyn Ortiz. Rojas has to be added to the 40-man roster this winter. Team officials are still bullish on Morales as a reliever but believe he needs more time to adapt to the role.
