Football is (almost) back, baby! The first regular season Sunday Night Football game of 2022 airs September 11 when the Dallas Cowboys host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While there is a Sunday night game tonight, the matchup between the Arizona Cardinals and Baltimore Ravens isn’t technically a Sunday Night Football game. But football is football, right?

Just like last season, Sunday Night Football games will air weekly on NBC and Peacock Premium. How exactly can you stream tonight’s game between the Cardinals and Ravens? Great question. Here’s everything you need to know.

IS SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ON TONIGHT?

It’s not an official Sunday Night Football game, but a Sunday night NFL game will air tonight (August 21) on FOX.

WHAT TIME/CHANNEL IS SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ON?

The Arizona Cardinals host the Baltimore Ravens at 8:00 p.m. ET on FOX and FOX Sports.

HOW TO WATCH TONIGHT’S SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME:

NFL games today | Start time, TV channel, live stream options, and more

There are two NFL games today being played. The first is a matchup that would be considered one of the best of the year if it were played in the regular season. Meanwhile, the second game of the night will be live streamed on Amazon for the first time this season.

Green Bay Packers vs. Kansas City Chiefs

Time: 8 p.m. ET
TV channel: NFL Network
Live streams: Vidgo, fuboTV, NFL+

The first of two NFL games today is an exciting one. Even though we will not see Aaron Rodgers or Patrick Mahomes on the field, there are still some intriguing storylines to follow, including Jordan Love’s impressive preseason so far and the emergence of WR Romeo Doubs.

Love recorded 176 passing yards against the San Francisco 49ers in his first preseason game and 113 against the New Orleans Saints last week. Although there is no chance he is the starter heading into the season, Love has cemented himself as the backup and has quieted some of the fury surrounding his selection.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Houston Texans

Time: 8 p.m. ET
TV channel: Amazon Prime Video
Live streams: Vidgo, fuboTV, NFL+

Both the San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans are undefeated in the preseason standings this year. Last week, the 49ers opted not to play QB Trey Lance at all, leaving Nate Sudfeld and Brock Purdy to see the bulk of the work. The starters for Houston saw quite a bit of work in Week 2 of the preseason, and head coach Lovie Smith has already said they will play a lot more in the preseason finale.

After a short appearance in the first game of the preseason, Mills shined with more playing time by completing 10 of 17 passes for 96 yards and a touchdown last week against the Rams.

When does the NFL regular season begin?

The 2022 NFL season starts on Thursday, Sept. 8, as the defending Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams host the Buffalo Bills in SoFi Stadium.

The first Sunday of the NFL season concludes with the Dallas Cowboys hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a repeat of the 2021 NFL season opener. What will this Cowboys’ offense look like without Amari Cooper? Will the Buccaneers struggle after several offensive line injuries plagued their team in training camp?

There are a number of other interesting games on the Week 1 NFL schedule, like the Bengals hosting their division rival Pittsburgh Steelers and the Las Vegas Raiders traveling to face the Los Angeles Chargers. The week comes to an end on Monday night when the Denver Broncos face the Seahawks in Seattle.
