How to play pirated wii u games

I feel like it should have been included in the first place. I have about 40 gamecube games. I refuse to rebuy something I already own. So if a hack allows me to backup GC games I already own and play them on the Wii U, then i support it.

The reason it doesn't go beyond the title screen is because he hasn't implemented classic controller support yet. Once he does that it'll be released. I look forward to this.

No, it's pretty much hacked. They're currently not releasing anything, because Nintendo would just release a firmware update to protect the current holes. So they won't release anything until they are certain that it can't be fixed by Nintendo.

couldn't they use the sd card like action replay wii does? hell as far as i know nintendo has never blocked any hacks that run completely on the sd card.

Incorrect. Only the "wii mode" was hacked because Nintendo didn't bother patching up the same exploits that work on "normal" Wiis.

I guess it's actually a different exploit (they DID fix some of the existing ones), but it's the same idea. Google around; obviously can't provide links here.

I think I did read that homebrew stuff transfers over when doing the system transfer, but I never tried it myself.

A hacked Wii will transfer, but all of the content will be verified online first so anything added with hacks will not transfer. Also, because of Wii mode, things that require a special trick to work (for example: USB loaders) won't work on the Wii U's Wii mode. Lastly, an SD card exploit could not be done on the Wii U as it doesn't allow files to be moved/copied to SD cards, only pictures from the Mii creator can be put on an SD card. USB requires a format to work on the Wii U and uses a format that isn't compatible with PC so you wouldn't be able to load files from a USB to a Wii U either as it'd erase the contents both ways.

Because it's not something that can be fixed. As long as Wii mode exists, so will Wii hax.

My cousin told me his neighbor installed the homebrew channel on his wii u and is able to run wii games. I didn't know it was even possible cause i thought nintendo would be all over that making sure it wasn't a problem. Pirating is just something that really urks me.

It goes against the pirate code to pirate anything not either 10 years old or 2 generations prior.

So go ahead and play your emulated goldeneye (the ONLY way to play it on the wii or wii u), but leave wii games alone, please.

The Wii U is lame unlike the Nintendo 3DS. If the Wii U's BC was more like the Nintendo 3DS' is, then we wouldn't have to deal with the illegal downloading of Wii games for Wii U users.

Honestly I would like that, but at the same time I would miss HBC, I have back ups of allmost all my wii games, since I don't want to wear down the lase or danify any of my games.
