In this guide, we'll learn how to change your level type between the different level types you can switch to! We will also explain what each level type means. Let's get started! First, make sure you're on our panel, https://witherpanel.com/ . Then, go to the server you want to manage. Once you're there, head over to the File Manager, and then open the file server.properties. Show Make sure your server's stopped while this is happening! In this file, you'll find a setting called level-type. We can change it to any type that we want! In case it's not in the file, you can just add it as a new line! Let's explain each level-type in more detail. default - Standard world with hills, valleys, water, etc. flat - A flat world with no features, can be modified with generator-settings. largeBiomes - Same as default but all biomes are larger. amplified - Same as default but world-generation height limit is increased. buffet - Only for 1.15 or before. Same as default unless generator-settings is set. default_1_1 - Only for 1.15 or before. Same as default, but counted as a different world type. customized - Only for 1.15 or before. After 1.13, this value is no different than default, but in 1.12 and before, it could be used to create a completely custom world. Once you set the level-type, hit on save. Then, delete the worlds folders that are present in your file manager. It would be world, world_nether, world_the_end for java edition, and for bedrock edition, it would be worlds. Then, start your server and you should generate a world with the level-type you've specified! Updated on: 14 / 06 / 2022 Minecraft | How to Change World Type Go to https://panel.skynode.pro/ and click on your server STOP your server Open File manager in top menu. Delete your world folder. Usually named world unless you change it on server properties Now, Go to Server Properties Find or Type level-type=default and change it to what you want
Here is the list of World Types Minecraft Java World Type Start your server once done. All done! Your world type should now be good. Updated on: 27 / 08 / 2021 We've been playing on the server for a month now (DW20 1.10.2 pack) and we thought we were just unlucky with world gen because we didn't find any biome's o plenty biomes. Turns out I forgot to set level type in server properties to Biomes O plenty. I've changed the setting now and deleted all region files outside of our base range in order for the new terrain generation to take place but it appears to not generate any BOP biomes. I've checked this using the /bop tpbiome command. Is there a way to change this or is this a thing that needs to be set at the beginning? would it be a solution to start a new server instance with the correct settings and copy the region files from the old instance to the new instance? Any help would be appreciated! kind regards! Edit: Fix in comments
"whitelist" redirects here. For the command, see Commands/whitelist. server.properties is the file that stores all the settings for a multiplayer (Minecraft or Minecraft Classic) server. When editing server.properties, it is important that the same structure as the original is used, although the order of the lines is arbitrary. The text before the equal sign is the key, which should not be changed. The text after the equal sign is the property's value, which can be edited. Lines that begin with # are comments – altering or removing these lines has no effect on the game. After changes are made to the server.properties file, the server must be restarted for them to take effect. Another option is to use the /reload command in the server console or in-game, which will also allow changes to be reloaded. If the server.properties file does not list all properties (such as if a new version of the server adds new properties, or if the file does not exist), then on startup, the server rewrites the server.properties file with the new properties listed and set them to their default values. The server.properties file is simply a normal text file with UTF-8 encoding, despite its extension, and can therefore be edited with any text editor such as Notepad for Windows, TextEdit for Mac, or nano and vim for Linux. File locationJava EditionThis file is automatically generated upon the first start of the server (if it does not exist).
