Recently, British magazine Nubia Magazine released the list they collected for the 10 most famous K-Pop idols in the world. The list rankings were based on data collected from over 70 different social media platforms worldwide, and also from Google trends and Google news. Some data was also collected by surveying people on the streets worldwide about their favorite K-Pop idols!

Based on all of his research, here are who are considered the 10 most famous K-Pop idols in the modern age.

10. Eunwoo (ASTRO)

Eunwoo, ASTRO’s vocalist, visual, and face of the group, is known not only for his singing skills, but his talents as an actor as well. Many fans swoon over him for his handsome appearance, and has even been called “Face Genius” because he has a “crazily handsome face”! He is also considered the smartest member of ASTRO, and if he wasn’t a singer, he has said that he would be a teacher, doctor, or news anchor.

9. Rosé (BLACKPINK)

Rosé is BLACKPINK’s main vocalist and lead dancer, and is so talented in each that she ranked first place in YG Entertainment‘s Australian auditions the year that she participated! She’s most well-known for her unique and pretty singing voice, and fans love her for that as well as her beautiful, goddess-like visuals (which ranked her at #66 on TC Candler‘s “100 Most Beautiful Faces Of 2019” list).

8. Baekhyun (EXO)

Baekhyun, the main vocalist of EXO, is the only member of his group to make it onto this list! Like others on this list, he has also starred as an actor in dramas (such as Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo), showing just how multi-talented he is. He’s been immensely successful as a solo artist, with multiple of his solo albums reaching over one million sales!

7. Jennie (BLACKPINK)

Jennie, the main rapper and lead vocalist of BLACKPINK, was also the first in the group to release her own solo music, the appropriately-named “Solo”. Known for her musical skills as well as her visuals, she has starred in tons of various ads and ranked within the top 20 on TC Candler‘s “100 Most Beautiful Faces” lists for both 2018 and 2019.

6. J-Hope (BTS)

J-Hope, the main dancer, sub-rapper, and sub-vocalist of BTS, is the first of a couple of BTS members to end up on this list! He’s loved for his incredible dance skills as well as his talents in rapping and singing, but he’s arguably even more adored for his bright, cheerful personality that will make anyone smile. In fact, he even chose the name “J-Hope” because he wanted to be a source of light and hope for his fans!

Jisoo, the lead vocalist and visual of BLACKPINK, and has been praised since debut for her incredible, natural beauty. Along with being gorgeous, however, there’s no denying her musical abilities as well, with many fans praising her for her quick progress since the group debuted! 3. Lisa (BLACKPINK)

Lisa, BLACKPINK’s main dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist, and maknae, is the highest-ranking member of her group on this list! She has been named one of the best female dancers in her generation of K-Pop, and was also the only person accepted into YG Entertainment during their auditions in Thailand in 2010. She has also ranked 9th, 3rd, and 2nd consecutively in TC Candler‘s “100 Most Beautiful Faces” lists for 2018, 2019, and 2020, due to how undeniably gorgeous she is.

2. Jungkook (BTS)

Jungkook, the main vocalist, lead dancer, sub-rapper, center, and maknae of BTS, doesn’t have the title “Golden Maknae” for no reason! He’s known to excel in basically anything he tries, especially when it comes to musical and athletic talents. When he was in middle school, he participated in the Superstar K auditions and, even though he didn’t pass the elimination round, received offers from eight different entertainment agencies on his way home! Also for 2019’s “100 Most Handsome Faces” list by TC Candler, he ranked #1.

And finally, V, who is BTS’s lead dancer, sub-vocalist, and visual, is ranked as the most famous K-Pop idol in the world! He has talents in many areas, in music and acting as well as photography, fashion, and drawing as well, not to mention his ridiculously handsome visuals. He ranked at #1 in TC Candler‘s “100 Most Handsome Faces” list in 2017, after all! He has made incredible growth since he debuted as someone who struggled in dance, and has now become one of the group’s best dancers. Plus, his charisma is so endearing!
