Three decades have now passed since the McCallister family left Kevin home alone, so what have they all been up to since then?
In 1990, Harry and Marv (Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern) tried to break in to the McCallister home while they were on Christmas vacation, but were outsmarted by the precocious child's (Macaulay Culkin) booby traps.
It's been well documented that Culkin stepped away from acting, but what about the other McCallisters? While some continued in the industry (one even returned to the Home Alone franchise in Disney+'s latest remake), one stepped behind the camera, and another became an Olympic athlete.

Here's a rundown of what each of the Home Alone cast members are doing over thirty years later.
Kevin McCallister — Macaulay Culkin
Even though he took a long break from acting, Macaulay Culkin seems to be as famous as ever, probably because his two Home Alone movies are played consistently every Christmas.
Now in his forties, Culkin still acts but in smaller roles. He's recently appeared in American Horror Story, and Seth Green's movie Changeland. He was also part of the comedy rock band The Pizza Underground until he announced their split in 2018.
Harry — Joe Pesci
One of Hollywood's most talented actors, Pesci starred in Home Alone around the same time he won an Oscar for his role in Goodfellas.
He announced his retirement from acting in 1999 so he could pursue a musical career. Pesci returned briefly for small roles in The Good Shepherd and Love Ranch, but was eventually pulled out of retirement so he could work alongside Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro in The Irishman in 2019.
Marv — Daniel Stern
The taller half of The Wet Bandits (later renamed as the Sticky Bandits), Stern has continued to work as an actor throughout the years in animation, comedy and drama.
His most notable roles include voicing the adult Kevin Arnold in The Wonder Years, he played the lead character in cartoon comedy Dilbert and he was Glen Babbit in Manhattan.
Kate McCallister/Kevin's Mom — Catherine O'Hara
SCTV alumni Catherine O'Hara may have always been known as the mom from Home Alone until recently, when she earned widespread acclaim for her role as Moira Rose in Schitt's Creek.
Now 67-years-old, O'Hara is a multi Primetime Emmy Award winner who has also starred in Beetlejuice, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Best in Show.
Peter McCallister/Kevin's Dad — John Heard
Father of the McCallister family, John Heard passed away in 2017 at the age of 71 due to a sudden cardiac arrest.
He was a prolific actor over the years and had small roles in the likes of Modern Family, Entourage and The Sopranos. He also appeared in movies like White Chicks, The Pelican Brief and Big.
Marley — Roberts Blossom
Kevin's elderly neighbor Marley was played by World War II veteran Roberts Blossom. He retired from acting in the year 2000 and passed away at the age of 87 in July 2011.
Buzz McCallister — Devin Ratray
Buzz actor Devin is still acting and he's still very much a part of the Home Alone franchise.
He recently reprized his role as Buzz in the new Disney+ movie Home Sweet Home Alone, and he also recently teamed up with Airbnb to offer a lucky group the chance to stay in the Home Alone house.
Linnie McCallister — Angela Goethals
Kevin's older sister Linnie was played by screen and stage actress Angela Goethals. She has since appeared in several Broadway and Off-Broadway shows across the nineties, as well as the movie Jerry Maguire.
She's starred in a number of TV shows but also took a break from acting to get a degree in French from Vassar College.
Goethals recently announced she's available to share messages on the website Cameo.
Gus Polinski — John Candy
The late actor John Candy can add Home Alone to his list of classic comedies, which include Planes, Trains and Automobiles, Cool Runnings, Space Balls and Uncle Buck (which he also co-starred in with Culkin).
Candy reportedly died of a heart attack on March 4, 1994 at the age of 43.
Fuller McCallister — Kieran Culkin
Kieran Culkin stepped out of his brother's shadow to become a recognizable name in his own right. While Macaulay stepped away from acting, Kieran continued with roles in the likes of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, No Sudden Move and Fargo.
Of course his most recognizable role is that of Roman Roy in the HBO series Succession.
Uncle Frank — Gerry Bamman
Cruel Uncle Frank was played by Gerry Bamman, whose last acting role was in The Following in 2015.
Now 80 years old, Bamman starred in several TV shows as well as movies like Superstar, Great Expectations and Runaway Judge.
Megan — Hillary Wolf
Hillary Wolf's acting career was short-lived, with Home Alone 2: Lost in New York being her last on-screen role.
She became a judo champion and represented the United States at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics.
Officer Balzak — Larry Hankin
Comedic actor Larry Hankin will be familiar to anyone who watched the early days of Friends, with his role as Mr. Heckles.
At 83-years-old, Hankin is still working with recent roles in HBO show Barry and El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie.
Jeff — Michael C. Maronna
Another one of Kevin's siblings, Jeff was played by Michael C. Maronna. After making a number of acting appearances in the likes of Home Alone, 40 Days and 40 Nights, and Slackers, he then took on roles behind the camera.
He's worked in the camera and electrical department for a number of recent projects including Dickinson, The Deuce and Iron Fist.
Heather — Kristin Minter

She's recently had recurring roles in the likes of Badge of a Quitter, Faking It and the kids TV show Bella and the Bulldogs.
Home Alone and all of the sequels are available to watch on Disney+ now.
