What is the equation of the line that passes through the point − 4 7 and has an undefined slope?

--- all vertical lines have undefined slope, and general equation: x = n where n can be any real number --- if the line passes through (4, 7) its equation is: x = 4 --- Solve and graph linear equations: //sooeet.com/math/linear-equation-solver.php --- Solve quadratic equations, quadratic formula: //sooeet.com/math/quadratic-formula-solver.php --- Solve systems of linear equations up to 6-equations 6-variables:

If you seek success...I am here to help

When the slope is UNDEFINED, that means the denominator of the slope formula is ZERO

Slope formula = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1),

and the graph is a VERTICAL line and the equation of the line is x =7

Point (7, -4) is a point on the line.

Hope this helps...

An undefined slope is a vertical line and can only pass through the x-axis. Look at your point, a vertical line will pass through the point at x=7. 👍🏻
