Batman: o cavaleiro das trevas ressurge anne hathaway

Na última semana, a atriz Anne Hathaway (“O Diabo Veste Prada”) falou com o site Access Hollywood sobre como foi interpretar a Mulher-Gato nos cinemas em “Batman – O Cavaleiro das Trevas Ressurge”, aumentando ainda mais a expectativa dos fãs pelo último filme da franquia do herói a ser dirigido por Christopher Nolan (“Amnésia”).

Hathaway declarou que ficou surpresa ao saber que estaria no elenco do filme. A atriz achou que “era bom demais para ser verdade”. Para viver a famosa personagem da Dc Comics, a estrela disse que sua mente foi “dominada” pelo grau de exigência imposto pelo papel.

“Do momento em que entrei para o elenco até a última vez que vesti aquele uniforme, tudo que eu colocava na boca estava ligado com o efeito que teria em mim na academia”, completou Hathaway, lembrando das horas dedicadas para ficar em boa forma.

A atriz falou do cuidado em criar uma Mulher-Gato que fosse sexy, mas que também dominasse a luta nas cenas de ação. Hathaway aprendeu a lutar para o filme e ainda falou que o diretor, Nolan, lhe deu liberdade de compor a personagem.

“Batman – O Cavaleiro das Trevas Ressurge” se passa alguns anos depois dos eventos do último filme (“Batman: O Cavaleiro das Trevas”) e traz Bruce Wayne tendo que assumir novamente o manto do Cavaleiro das Trevas para enfrentar o vilão Bane. O roteiro foi escrito por Christopher (o diretor) e Jonathan Nolan, a mesma dupla dos dois longas anteriores do Homem-Morcego.

No elenco estão também os atores Christian Bale (“As Flores da Guerra”), Tom Hardy (“A Origem”), Michael Caine (“Harry Brown”), Morgan Freeman (“Invictus”), Tom Hardy (do também inédito “Guerra é Guerra”), Marion Cotillard (“Meia-Noite em Paris”), Gary Oldman (“O Espião que Sabia Demais”) e Joseph Gordon-Levitt (“A Origem”). A conclusão épica da trilogia chega aos cinemas brasileiros no próximo dia 27 de julho.

Anne Hathaway viveu a Mulher-Gato no longa “Batman: O Cavaleiro das Trevas Ressurge” (2012) de Christopher Nolan, mas ela fez audição com outro papel em mente: o de Arlequina. Isso porque não havia sido dito qual personagem era para o teste.

À BBC Radio 1, ela revelou que ficou tentando aparentar “maluquinha” antes de saber para qual papel era a audição:

“Eu entrei e usava essa adorável [peça de roupa] de Vivienne Westwood, um top de alfaiataria lindo, mas louco, com listras por toda parte. E eu usei sapatos que pareciam do Coringa. E eu estava tentando dar ao diretor uns sorrisinhos malucos. Após uma hora, ele me disse: ‘Acho que não preciso te dizer, mas é a Mulher-Gato’. Então eu mudei para uma diferente marcha. Ok, somos flexivos”

Quem viveu Arlequina posteriormente nos cinemas foi Margot Robbie no “Esquadrão Suicida” de 2016 e em “Aves de Rapina” que foi lançado em fevereiro deste ano.

Christopher Nolan has outdone himself with this one. At 3.30 in the morning, I was tired. Just getting out of it, I've never been so awake.

Perhaps what set this film apart from his other films was that it had a genuine emotional heartbeat. I felt that this was a flaw of Nolan's other films - the vision of emotion was there, but it was hollow. In this I bought it. I felt it, hero and villain alike.

Christian Bale was typically brilliant as Batman, and I felt that Bruce Wayne was more heavily embraced in this final installment. Bale added emotional depth to the character - a plot point that I think went astray in The Dark Knight - picking up from the development made in Batman Begins.

Tom Hardy as Bane was quite simply, terrifying. No longer a dunderhead "enforcer", but one of the criminal masterminds behind "Gotham's Reckoning", coupled with a physical dominance strong enough to send shivers down your spine.

Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle defied my expectations. Hands up who was not entirely convinced that that girl from the Princess Diaries could handle an intensely physical role like Catwoman. But here I am, hugely impressed. She added immeasurably to the value of the film.

Marion Cotillard fulfilled the role of Miranda Tate admirably, though I suspect this was the most underdeveloped character of the film - though after watching, I can see why.

The unsung hero of The Dark Knight Rises is Michael Caine as Alfred. A heartfelt performance that helps drive the emotional content of the film, helping Nolan sell his most well-rounded film to date. Caine's performance in both presence and absence.

Special mention goes to Joseph Gordon Levitt, who is consistently proving himself to be a big player in the Hollywood game. His role as officer Blake felt like there could've been more, but it may just have come all a bit much. It was a great performance, and Levitt sunk his teeth into role.

If you can, go see this in IMAX. If any film was to sell the format to skeptics, The Dark Knight Rises would be IT. I'm happy Nolan stuck to his guns and shot in 2D. 3D would have been unnecessary.

I suppose at this point, I have to turn my focus on Nolan. If he ever reads this... aspiring filmmaker to filmmaker, I've never been so envious, jealous in all my life. It's a film that leaves me floundering, wondering what I could possibly do to get anywhere near this ballpark. Well done. I think an Oscar Nomination is in order.

From here, I'm not sure what to expect of the future. Does our imagination carry us forward, or do the studios? Time will tell.
