How long does homemade seitan last?

I'm a bit new at making seitan so I don't really have a sense of how long it stays fresh. I made it last saturday night and I haven't gotten a chance to have it again until now. It's just basic seitan that I boiled in vegetable broth. It is in the fridge in a tupperware container in the cooking liquid. It looks and smells fine but I was looking for some reassurance. Is there a general timeline for keeping seitan? Thanks so much.
